Andrew had the right stuff. And, as we had a picture-perfect day from Waterville to the Sidney boat landing, we searched in vain for Stripers, but found near-shore Smallies that pounded Andy's Deer hair Frog and smashed my Abby Popper and a Gartside Gurgler. Warm water Fly fishing action on top! Bass were crashing what appeared to be small Alewife.

This guy can fly fish! Well, after all, he works in a California fly shop. Thanks for a fine relaxing day on the Kennebec, Andrew!
