Notebook Archive Mike (at left) and Henry had some of the most challenging dry fly fishing in the East today at Shawmut. Size 20 Olives needed perfect drifts to long-distance sipping trout. Casting and presenting were way more important than getting the pattern "right", because one good fish took a large Bugmeister and another fish went for a Zebra Caddis, both used a simple indicator fly trailing the BWOs. |
