It's so satisfying when you can fish to strong Rainbows with small #18 dries!

I had a chance to fish Bingham with Jim Messer on July 28 and again on the 30th. Jim is an excellent fly fisherman and a good friend and a day on the river with him is always fun.

Jim caught a lovely Brook Trout (left) on a small emerger and a few 16-inch Rainbows.

Other pictures of our trips are below.

A Jim's an ardent dry fly enthusiast and it's humbling to watch him cast a line. I truly think that fish fear the man. A Tip: When you fish Bingham or anywhere for that matter, try to dress so as NOT to look like Jim Messer. If you look like Jim the fish will think you're him and you won't be able to get NEAR a fish, let alone hook one.
