The East Outlet is a favorite of mine because it can hold good fish nearly all season long. I like the fact you can fish a wide variety of techniques and patterns. It's a great stretch of river.

I landed two "good" Salmon and a few smaller fish, all casting to rise forms.

From August until October larger Salmon will often take big floating flies with a vengeance.

I arrived around 8:30 AM and a little hatch of Midges and Caddis was in progress. I fished small dries nearly all morning, but did raise fish with my Yellow Madam X too.
