Too bad we've only gone camping once so far this summer; our lives are busy working summers here in Maine...so, we're sadly selling our camper.

There were a few Trout caught, mostly during low-light hours. But the main focus of the trip was kick back, read, eat and have some quiet.

Below, Diane reacts when I ask her if she really misses her cell phone service!

Grandson Evan, enjoyed toasting marshmallows and eating hot dogs and his Dad and Mom had a chance to kick back on Saturday.

Craig Denis and Laurie stopped in for a visit and some burgers. Craig showed me some environmental impacts to the Kennebec watershed just upstream of the Rt. 16 Bridge where Guilford Transportation is adversely impacting the land and small streams.


Craig surveys the damaged land using a "feet-on" approach. Yep. he's barefoot!
