August 23, Bob and Sam Summary: 2005 was a tough fishing season. Rain in June and rain in October made for high water. Blazing sun in late June gave us steamy hot conditions and put fish and hatches off. It was the season of the Bass. The Bass fishing was pretty fine from the beginning of July until late August. Even the best trout anglers had a tough time at Shawmut. Big fish were scarce. We had fun though, and that's the ingredient we're trying for on our day. Whether it's sight fishing for rising Browns or Rainbows, or poppering for Smallmouth Bass, we're always having fun at FFO! See you all next spring. If you're coming down to Naples, Florida and want a guided wade trip, just ask Mike or Linda for my phone number.
